 20 Welsh internationals, selected by Andy Beattie, will be heading for Portugal 11th March for the Algarve Cup and hope to repeat their defeat of Portugal 1-0 during the international friendlies at Stebonheath Park in October (you can still see see the match highlights on the Wales Women TV channel at www.WomensSoccerScene.co.uk and other women's football websites).New coach Trisha Jones joins the squad support staff for this trip. Trisha plays for Caersws Ladies FC and was previously FAW Trust football development officer for mid-Wales. Wales will miss key defender Emma Jones and winger Laura Roberts who are both at an important stage in their university courses and therefore are unavailable.
